First time visiting the Boston area

Tried to go to the Samuel Adams Brewery on Thursday. Got there and it was closed due to a power outage. Bummer.

Went on a tour of Martha’s Vineyard yesterday. 12 hour deal. Very informative and interesting, but exhausting as well. But, now I know a little about how the half lives.

Touring Fenway Park today at 1pm. Not a Red Sox fan but still felt like I have to do it.

Game tonight! Looking forward to the experience.

Cheers tomorrow, then home to Virginia on Monday.

Go Tigers!!!

If you are so inclined and have time, go to Bell in Hand

Tavern for a pint of ale. You can literally feel the history standing where Paul Revere and others gathered

Personally I would spend at least a couple of hours at "Cheers". Tell Sam high from Doc please.

Actually it really is. It's a pretty time of year. Enjoy. You'll be in the stands by yourself at half.

VATIGER84 ... I'm a 1984 VA native grad myself. Long time lived in Savannah, GA. As for Martha's Vineyard, recently spent a week in Nantucket myself. Like you said, interesting to see how the other half lives ... enjoy your trip and a Tiger win!

Boston is a fantastic city to visit. The 1st time I went it was 1981 when we played Boston College and Flutie was their QB. I was there last August also. So much history in that city. I would also love to visit Nantucket/Martha’s Vineyard. Have a great time!

We played BC in 82. With the 250th anniversary of our nation coming up, this is a great time to visit historical places like Boston and all the Revolutionary sites in the area.

Boston sucks. The fans are worse than New York fans, smug. You drive through teh city and someone stops right in front off you and leaves their car, you can't move. Liberal city and area out the rear end. Much better places to spend time.

What does "liberal city" even mean? Most population centers are liberal.
