If we had Shedur Sanders

The past couple of years we would’ve competed for a national championship. Say what you want about his antics that kid can play, very few QBs can get off the passes he was throwing last night under pressure. Also wish we had the speed they have at WR those dudes fly.

Not saying I would rather losing games but shedeur would be extremely painful to watch just based on the way he acts. Opposite of the culture that’s been built at Clemson

We couldn't afford him. He made $5.3m in NIL last year. I have no idea his expected NIL this year but would have to expect similar dollars.

The people who earned this money in the first place are going to figure out a way to insist on a better ROI at some point or they're going to stop dishing it out so freely.

That doesn't include the NIL that the other players made especially those like Shiloh and Hunter.

And it got the Buffs a 400% win improvement in Year 1 under Coach Prime.

Tell me about any other team that has sold out their spring game after a 1-11 season anywhere, ever.

There were at least 15 NFL scouts at the UC-NDSU game last night to watch the Sanders guys and Travis Hunter play.
That's a sign that Shedeur is worth the $$.

It takes an entire team, and the rebuild will take 4 to 5 years for the Buffs to be really good again.

We get it already! You like NIL!!!

Sheduer would never get $5.3m if his daddy wasnt Prime and the coach. Yes someone would pay him a $1-2mil this year as that seems to be going rate for QB, but not $5.3m.

DEPOSITION DEON: On full display last night was some of the most horrible in-game coaching coupled with his petulant childish persona at the post game presser. When this season goes south, he'll be looking for an exit. Sheduer is a Sr so I wouldn't be surprised if his agent isn't already sending feelers out.

Who is paying Shilo. That kid would not crack the two deep at Clemson. His brother, Travis Hunter, Jimmy Horne all probably worth paying.
Bentley is their best front seven player and he would be a rotational player if he were still here.
Gonna be a long year for Coach Prime.

They showed some stats last night of the financial windfall that came to CO since Deion came to town. Given where they were, the ROI is justified quite nicely for that program, even with only 4 wins. Huge jump in admissions, season ticket sales, merchandising, contributions, etc.

Well, irregardless of the other posters, I agree with mjc. I can't speak to his intentions, but I took the point was if we had players with those abilities, we would have been in the playoffs. And not the point of himself in particular. I don't think his antics or nil would ever fly either.

Sorry, but I disagree. Leaving the NIL arguments aside, strictly from a playing perspective I don't think we'd compete for the national championship with him.

First off, he wasn't very accurate except to 1 receiver. We didn't have a #1 receiver for him to throw to.

Second, he liked to scramble and take off too quickly.

He's not an NFL caliber quarterback in my opinion, if he was why didn't he come out this year? He was eligible.

The drama that comes with him isn't worth the minor upside he'd bring either.

I watched most of his games last season, and never once did he make me go "wow". He can make plays, but not consistently and he's certainly not elite. As soon as he started playing defenses with a pulse his stats nosedived. He was only putting up Madden type numbers against mediocre teams.

Would we have won vs Fl St & Nancy St with him? Maybe, and maybe we go 12-0, but I still don't think we'd have won a playoff game with him.

Just my .02 - which with inflation isn't even worth that.

You must not watch much of Sheduer because he almost never takes off. He scrambles because he had to due to his OL as he was the most sacked QB last year. He throws as pretty pass as any QB I saw on field last year. If he stays healthy and continues his 69+% completion percentage then he will be drafted pretty high. I was impressed by his passing last year as well just his team stunk.

The kid can play.

And Travis Hunter might be the best all-round football player in the country. I don't know if he will make it to the end of the season playing so many snaps, but hes incredibly talented.
