That was last year. Then he introduced the Neff rule that we can redefine “making the tourney” as anything he wants.

Real fans would focus on supporting the team during the season. The LF fans care more about bashing the coach than actually winning games.

Well technically the coach is part of said team, and you are only as strong as your weakest link, and here we are trying to get into the top half of the conference at this point.

Again, for the third time:
Best job in America, hands down. Fourteen years of making tens of millions in pay in a mediocre program with very little expectation because you basically live in the shadow of the West Zone and there's no premium on your sport to help brand the university. Run a clean program (to Brad's credit, for sure), stay in the middle of the ACC, and recruiting's not even a problem because you are in the ACC and offer average ballers a chance to compete against the UNC"s, the Duke's. Even hardly ever making any mark in any postseason tourney is still not enough to send you packing. Best job in America, hands down!

I believe a contract extension is due… the team is right on the cusp of doing great things. It normally takes a guy 15 years to get his system fully implemented. I believe after this season you should expect some ACC championship appearances and a couple of NCAA tourney wins.
