You can’t compare Jan6 and butler. Very different.
Jan6 was planned by multiple conservative folks that attempted to throw out election results. It was planned and launched by government officials entrusted by American citizens. Crazy but true. Many of these folks, and new ones like JD Vance, have said they will not certify election results in the dure if presented with another situation of the democrats “stealing the election”. Jan6 could have changed the structure and the format of our democracy.
The shooter in PA seems to have acted alone. His actions would have had massive implications but would not have changed the structure and the format of our democracy.
The only similarity is the leader in both incidents committed criminal acts.
