You have to really wonder why/how this other man left Mac's father behind. Have to wonder what the relationship was...caretaker? Friend? To have left him there, I dunno, seems like something may have happened...intentional or unintentional

no matter how mad I became, my conscious wouldn't let me do that.
I don't blame Mack at all. I'd do the same and that chicken crap called the law???

Ditto. He may have kicked the guys’ teeth in, but he left his dad who is (missing). Bets are off with family for me. I get chills thinking about the book A Time to Kill.

Oh if they find Mac's dad dead, that dude better go into a protection plan bc, that first A$$ kicking would feel like a baby soft spanking compared to the one coming if my dad is dead!!!

Leave my kid, elderly parent, sister or brother behind, and they haven't been seen since, no doubt you're going to get a serious A$$ rocking, and I swear to God!!! While they are healing up, the only thing running through their thoughts, is why did I leave them behind, and they won't ever do that again in their entire life. If they even think about it, places on their body will start hurting from remembering the last time they left someone behind!!!!

The cops own the monopoly on 2nd hand violence.. Much like when you get smacked after a football play and retaliate. Guess who gets the flag.

Really??? The police had no choice but to charge him. If they don't, it becomes a PRECEDENT. Their job is to uphold the law, which is what they did. If my father had been under the same circumstances, I would have whipped someones ### and then I would expect the police to charge me. The court then has the ability to give him a light sentence (slap on the hand). Please dont start with badmouthing the police

It is their job to arrest and put in custody the law breakers, and kicking A$$ these days is a serious charge, but they would have to charge me, and give me my day in court bc the leaver would get his A$$ seriously kicked. AND, if my family member is found dead bc they were left, the leaver can bank on another beating!!!

I feel awful about the whole situation. You just never know how you would react if you were in that situation. I suppose I would pray for the mental clarity and restraint to not make the situation worse than it already was. Will definitely pray for all involved.

Mackenzie if you’re reading this, my heart goes out to you. I pray your Dad is found safe and sound. You were always one of my favorite players and your name equaled excellence at the CB position. Stay strong and know that Tiger nation wishes you well.

Yes don’t mess with my family, could it be a ransom type deal where they were trying to get money from Mac?
That would make him even more heated, I’d have to give someone my weapons so I didn’t end up living in jail for good.
Depending on the situation it would take the good Lord to keep me from trouble if anybody messed with my family.
We all need to pray for the whole family that peace and love will prevail.

I feel exactly as you Humble about messing with my family but, if the dude needed killing for his involvement, I would wait 3-4 years before he went missing into a gators belly!!!

So many internet bada$$es here today. We don't even know what the story is yet. Who knows maybe the guy got into an argument or a fight with the father, maybe the father refused to go with him? This story doesn't really say anything.

It’s the opposite for me, don’t be judging these Tigernet warriors where family is involved.

I never said anything about judging, so it's not really the same thing. Perhaps it's ironic. I just found the number of apparent MMA fighters in this thread quite high compared to the general population.

"I'm guessing you've got daddy issues....." That's a really dumb and immature comment. He's just pointing out that a lot of people in this thread jumping to conclusions and beating their chest when we don't have the full story yet.

Quote; "Here's the actual story.... Still supportive of a 26 year old professional athlete beating a 56 year old man while being held down?"
Curious where you got the information that MacKenzie beat the man while he was being held down I have not seen that in any report. Battery can be as simple as grabbing someone by the collar or their arm. Please give me your source that he beat a man while being held down.

And everybody has their right to express their feeling if it were their family member in a like situation. And to think that most of the guys in here wouldn't kill over someone hurting causing the death of a family member, you have a lot to learn about human nature bc, humans are the deadliest beings on this planet, and have always been!!!

The ones at grocery stores are a joke compared to Justus Orchard apples. I'd try to go every year even it they were 100 miles away.
Not believing anything wholeheartedly one way or the other without evidence, but driving 85 miles for good produce isn't crazy to me.
