Defensive shake up was good. My concern is offense. It's ACC elite at best

And with Dabo's dabbling in the offense, will he see the changes that need to be made?

We did better on offense when Dabo didnt have his laminated play sheet.

It’s not a coincidence.
Dabo shines when he is CEO and the face of the program, and lets his coordinators do their jobs without interference.
I hope we go back to that. Part of it is Dabo hiring experienced coordinators he trusts, and the rest is him being willing to let go of control.

If I'm in the captains seat, I haven't seen anything that would make me go hands

Off on the offense this year.
Or are they mediocre because of Dabo's meddling?
Which came first? The chicken or the egg?

What is mediocre about taking the 89tg offense in PPG to a top 20 offense in 2 years?

I have this same question as well. No doubt the defense has had problems this year but what about “volatile” offensive staff meetings? The offense disappeared during large stretches in all of our big games. Seems changes are needed there as well.

The thing about football is it only takes a few things to handcuff a team.
I have a sneaking suspicion that this year Dabo realized he couldn't just go into high flying air raid or every game would've been a shoot out. Clock management and conservative playcalling were to help the defense(after the 2nd bye week when Cade and the wrs had finally gelled).

Hurt running backs hurt us. I think O will be okay and even more potent next season but D needed a change...yesterday.

The offense is going to be really good next year.
Cade is a legit Heisman contender. Antonio, Moore, Wesco and Tyler Brown at WR. The OL will be better under Matt Luke.
Not worried about that side of the ball at all.
But, yes, Dabo should stop dictating the pace of the offense.

Easy to coach a team on the day after the game. T-Net Coaches are the best.
