I think Will Muschamp will be available after this season.

After today’s performance I’m starting to think he’s drop a few points.

It would be a very tough hire. Obviously they’ll find someone decent because of what they are willing to pay. But, Harbaugh was the great hope for them after 15-20 years of disappoints. Harbaugh brought - big name, alum, tons of publicity, instant recruiting uptick. But....it doesn’t seem to be working.
When he fails, there may be a harsh reality that Michigan isn’t what it used to be. They definitely can still win big there, but it’s not a given like it used to be.
Similar to Nebraska, they are too far away from the most fertile recruiting grounds. Will be interesting to see if Frost can recruit enough nationally to restock the talent at Nebraska. One day they may ask to renter the Big IX so they can better recruit a Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas.

I guess you didn't know that they recruited well under Hoke.

In fact, Jim Harbaugh's success in his first year was because he had a lot of talented upperclassmen from Hoke's recruits.

Did I say they didn’t recruit well prior to Harbaugh?

Honestly Michigan should keep him a few more years and let him keep building the program. He’s “underachieving” but they are still winning. Remember when we were with Bowden. That type of success.
However, Harbaugh has won big at different levels and I’ll be shocked if he is unable to win big at Michigan. Of course the South rules supreme in football so we get the best players.

not sure if they'd be patient enough.
They'd been very patient under Hoke, but that's a different story. They pay Harbaugh big time money and so they expect quick result. Now, when it's Harbaugh's 4th year and they realize that Michigan hasn't won many games against their rivalry, it's tough for them to swallow.
