Sub out FSU with Clemson in this game and the Tigers throttle Louisville.

The argument is that they will have a healthier QB room in January. This does look bad though.

FSU was getting left out, even if the 3rd string QB was all world tonight.
They set it up all week in case UGA lost
Didn't count on Texas and Udub winning.

It shouldn’t matter if FSU wins the game 3-0.
There should be NO WAY an UNDEFEATED power 5 conference champion should be left out of a 4 team playoff with only 3 undefeated teams.
Unfortunately however… I believe FSU will get left out even if they win. Even though no SEC team should be in… they will still put Alabama in.
It’s just the way the cards fell this year. Texas won AT Alabama by 10. FSU with a win tonight is undefeated. The final 4 SHOULD be…

#4 Texas
#2 Michigan
#3 Florida State
But the actual Final 4 WILL be…

I fully agree FSU is not one of the 4 best without Jordan Travis but that shouldn’t matter if they win tonight. Undefeated is undefeated and conference champ is a conference champ. They have earned it but will not be given the opportunity.

The argument isn’t between FSU and Bama. It’s Bama and TX. The 3 undefeated conference champs will be in. And really who did Bama beat today. A really talented team that played a GARBAGE schedule. The sec is the 3rd/4th best conference this year.
And oh btw, FSU beat 2 from that conference.

If they are undefeated then they deserve to be in. A team includes backup third string QB and coaching. Who is to say that the Alabama QB will not be hurt on the first play if they made the CFP. A undefeated team and conference champion and one that beat an SEC team on the road with a backup QB is more then enough. Plus their second string QB would be healthy and be able to practice until the games in January.
