If Dabo can re-build it, why did he let it fall down?

Clemson has not beaten a top 25 SEC team since 2019. Six seasons. You are what your record says you are. Our record says we're an inferior team, but, maybe with a few more news conferences all will be well.

Maybe it is more about who we schedule and whether we should play lesser teams. Dabo is going nowhere so deal with it.

That’s what I have learned from Dabo this past week.

He had a magic touch for around 10 years. Every coaching hire panned out, recruiting was almost always successful and 10 win after 10 win season. I think he was in cruise control and just let his coaches coach and he delegated. This is the year he looked around and is now, for lack of a better word, "uuuuuuuummmmmmm, what happened?"

Look at Dabo’s all-time record against SEC teams at least. Posts like this act like we are playing "top" SEC teams every couple weeks. Yes, we haven’t won the most recent ones we’ve played against such teams, but there will always be ups and downs.

There can be parallels drawn no doubt. I felt kinda sorry for him after the Syracuse blow out even after his Tuesday dressing down of the fans and threatening to take his ball and go coach somewhere else. I hope he can change but think it's gonna be too little too late.

You and other fans are trying to say NIL, Revenue Sharing and The TP had no negative impact on college football and did not have any negative affects on Clemson’s football program ???
We did not drop of the planet. We still won 10 or more games in those 5 years going 9-4 one season.
Fans are going to keep whining until we start losing recruits and the winning HC in Clemson’s history.
I am interested to see how the TP teams sustain success within their programs. Over a long period of time.
OK Dabo is off to his worst start after 16 years of success. I have tremendous faith in Dabo and his ability to fix any issues.
Unless fans and ESPN and other media eat down Dabo until he finally leaves for another program. And I am going to post every day “I told you so “
My Dad always told you don’t realize how good you had it until you lost it. Go back and compare Dabo last 5 years to Danny’s last five years, and other previous HC’s at Clemson.
Maybe you might cut Dabo a little slack after you compare records. Some people just don’t know how to enjoy life 🐅🐅🐅

I wouldn’t go as far as saying the last16 years have been successful. We have been in a slow decline for the last 4 years, with the pace of decline accelerating this year. It hasn’t been that hard to rack up 9-10 wins against soft schedules, but how many quality wins were there?

None. Anyone with a pulse has beaten Dabo. Now the teams on life support are.

I think after the 15-0 2018 National Championship season he got complacent and thought Clemson could keep winning at a high level even with inexperienced assistant coaches and few if any transfer players.

If just calling me a Coot will fix the pgm, by all means call me a Coot.
If Neff and the BOT continue in denial, we'll be like Tennessee and spend fully 20 years in the wilderness, and Tenn still has not convincingly returned. Same thing with Miami. Denying the problems will ensure mediocrity for as long as the denying continues. I guess we can stand around and polish the 2016 and 2018 trophies.
Dabo seems convinced that what worked in 2018 works today, but it doesn't. I wish it did, but it doesn't. As much as I personally hate them, NIL and the portal are here to stay.
Clemson doesn't have even one single standout player. Even a guy like Peter Woods - for whatever reason, PWoo is slow, late to the gap, doesn't chase down the ball carrier and rarely affects the QB. On paper, he's our best player. That says a lot. None of it good.
Name a coach we have that a T25 program wants. Name one.
All of this happened on Dabo's watch folks.
