I can only assume Jeff Scott has been in a back room somewhere learning the offense just in case The Chad leaves and we need to pick up where we left off. That's my guess.

he made the young, buddy mistake with Napier and throwing a green Scott out there after Chad Morris could be very bad for Dabo and Scotts careers.

willing to forfeit large portions of his compensation to hire talented coordinators thereby ensuring his own longterm success at Clemson. Say what you want about Dabo's playcalling abilities or lack there of, but he is no idiot when it comes to running a program. He is one of the more effective "CEO-style" coaches in the country. He recruits top players and turns them over to trusted assistants to put togethr back-to-back, 10-win seasons.
