I originally thought that no question Cade would stay for his senior year but after what he said post Texas game and his 2nd round draft grade there is a decent chance he tries to go pro. If the does leave how confident are yall in vizzina? I think with Cade next year (and some work on defense) we are a serious contender. But is Cade going to leave and what’s gonna happen if he does cause I’m a little worried.

I think Vizzina has the potential to be a great QB, but I’d prefer to get Cade back for one last year, and have Vizzina keep developing behind him.

Problem is, your eyes and mine are watching reps with 2nd and 3rd stringers. We don’t get to watch him in practice with TJ,, Williams,and Wesco.

Cade CANNOT go. He cannot leave!!! No point in discussing any of this without Cade. And Cade was hardly under anyone's radar until late September.... His draft prospect would be much higher after another good year. Plus we want to come back and win it all!!!!

He can't leave. He has to stay. Deshawn Watson stayed, and he would have been drafted much much higher than Cade had he left after 2015. We are in a position offensively to be like we were in 2015/2016 with DW4 and company, so Cade HAS to return... (I hope)

Watson could not leave after 2015. And in retrospect it would have been much better for Watson to have stayed after 2016. We likely would’ve won another national championship in 2017 and Watson would’ve had an extra year in college with Dabo to mature socially and emotionally. Watson was a great quarterback for Clemson. Unbelievable talent and unbelievable will to win.

Cade isn't getting a second round draft grade from anyone that matters. More like 4-7th round so no idea why certain posters keep posting these lies. Perhaps an agenda?

Cade very likely getting a 2nd round grade. I still think he’s planning on staying regardless, from what I’ve been told, but if he were to leave… there’s definitely going to be offensive regression based on the current QB room… potential is there just a lack of experience

Yes when Cade leaves we are all out of 5 star talented QB’s. We will take a real step down in talent at QB going forward . Our recruiting has tanked and we have nothing in the works .

I feel confident he is going to get paid well to stay, his draft projection will not be high enough to sway him, most of his weapons are returning, and risking leaving for another program for one year when you are coming off a great season and among the early favorites for the Heisman in '25, would make absolutely no sense.
