They won’t serve more than 20 years. Watch a ton of crime shows and this nation is ### backwards when it comes to justice. A buddy of mine is a detective and some of these cases and stories he has mentioned (after the fact) blows my mind. Obvious guilty perps get off on some stupid legality that in the end should not sway obvious offenses. System is broke and the criminals know it.
We have innocent people that serve time and that is definitely unfortunate but on the flip side you have a revolving door of folks that are repeat offenders.

That's more than one daily...for a while EMT's, U of Chicago police would not cross the street to retrieve a wounded person for fear they would be shot...one dead Crack dealer a wal mart gets torched...officer in line of duty...nothing said! That's at Washington Park on the west boundary of the U of Chicago!
