I hope that I am correct in feeling that some boosters are stepping up to stop the bleeding. I am also feeling Clemson is going to flip some other school’s good commitments before signing day. Buckle up folks because this is about to get interesting.

I think the same thing. It wont just flow one way. I hate to feel the coaches have to tamper but dang you can’t just sit back and get robbed blind.

I recommend that everyone, regardless of their financial status, that is a big believer in NIL and the portal step up and contribute so that we can buy some good players. If you are one of those saying if I had a million dollars laying around I would contribute a hundred thousand to a Clemson NIL fund, send a thousand if you have ten thousand of disposal income. The Clemson NIL fund doesn’t want 100k of what you don’t have, but they do want 1k of what you do have …….. or even a hundred dollars.

They do. That performance is in endorsing goods or services

On field performance cannot be tied to business deals between an athlete and a booster or NIL collective, because the athletes don't play for those entities.

And if you think a 18 year old is going to lawyer up and beat a team of suits representing a corporation or a high net worth contributor you can change the word most to all

It wasn't. The bottom line is that college athletes are students. They are subject to student registration requirements.
They can opt out at any time. They can only transfer during the portal windows. Neither if those windows occur during the regular football season or the fall semester.
Funny, with all of the challenges to NCAA rules, that the portal window has t been challenged even once.

Cannot😂. You act like people are abiding by the rules. My money would be on big boosters paying by performance. They are not just going to give their money away without expecting a return on investment.
Will probably hear about some lawsuits regarding this very thing in the very near future.

In effect they do have one, its not stated but its implied in the free market.
If I am Dr Pepper and pay a kid who I think is the next excellent, can't miss QB in CFB say $2M but then he totally craps the bed, doesn't even finish the season as the starter and leaves the program. I, Dr Pepper, am probably not going to do another NIL deal with him the next year.
This is a hypothetical example of course....

Yes, that is the free market. Companies waste marketing revenue on terrible advertising all the time.
Choose wisely, and let the buyer beware.

And in this hypothetical situation does the hypothetical quarterback also have hypothetical deals with Bojangles and Beats?
