It's not the end of the world. I didn't look it up and don't plan to, but I was wondering when was the last time a team went undefeated in the ACC regular season.
Let's go Tigers! Start another seven game winning streak!

Those players can't control injuries and poor officiating. Hopefully, they will come back more determined than ever!

Shot selection seemed off last night too though. Dudes were pumping up 3's from High Point early in the shot clock.
Need Chase back soon to move the ball and distribute it.
It's one game and the guys never gave up which is very encouraging.

Duke was undefeated during the regular season in 1999. That is the last time I found a undefeated ACC team.

won't watch the recorded version with it being a loss, but I will say that I doubt we lose very many moving forward when scoring 77 points.
It's hard to win and even harder to go undefeated in conference.
Hopefully this loss is a learning experience for both the players and coaches, and another springboard to improvement that'll be seen the rest of the year.

We scored 77 and only had 14 free throw attempts and missed quite a few shots from the block/inside the paint (Middlebrooks and PJ). Could have easily scored more. That’s why it’s so hard to win on the road. Going to have some nights, especially away from home, when the shooting goes cold. Hasn’t happened much this year, but it got us last night and against Loyola. To score 77 points on a night where we shot poorly and had 20 less free throw attempts than the opponent says a lot about this team. If they keep working like they did last night we will see more wins for sure.

Three coaches -- Frank McGuire, Norman Sloan, and Dean Smith -- each had two undefeated teams in ACC play. McGuire had one at UNC and another at USC. Sloan posted both at NC State, and Smith had two at Chapel Hill, most recently in 1987.
Correction: As someone else mentioned the 98-99 Coach K Duke team also went undefeated
