When your coworkers tell you to slow down because

you're making them look bad because you used to work for an uptight boss who would ask about a project every 5 minutes and then you get into the corporate world and don't know how to operate when things move so durn slow and you just sit around and type stuff before sending a status update email at the end of the day that's already 1 week early and everybody gunna be mad and u just like ##### mayne I just like being productive instead of sitting in the lounge all day and then you realize that you're not even being rewarded but then you think who cares because if you aint first you're last and doing things 100% and balls to the wall is the only way to do em and then you rememeber when your Dad always says 1) do your job 2) treat people right 3) give all out effort and 4) have all in attitude and then get excited because you have Taco Tuesday tonight with Ms. Waylon and her mom and then realize you gon look her mom right in the eye a mere half hour before you eatin her taco you nomsayin man life is good and sometimes you just gotta stop to appreciate it and ware a pokemon shirt

and had the same work ethic. My 1st boss - the famous Pee Wee Gates for anyone that knows Community Cash lore - worked us like he owned us. I figured it was like that everywhere.
Anywhoo, at the waterworks they threatened to drown me in the floculation tank if I didn't slow down and pace myself. I was like, we have a set number of checklist points to cover each shift, let's get them done by lunch and sit around and listen to the scanner the rest of the shift. They said it don't work like that and I better get on the plan if I want to live to go back to college in the fall.
I've been a slacker ever since.

except they let me work my ### off and they all sat in the control room in the AC.
I also had to make chicken bog every friday.
