Yesterday was as vanilla as they come. No true attempt to pass down the field. I think we should see Williams back healthy you still have Brown,Collin’s and Stellato. I think we see shots down the field. It’s possible Clemson kept it vanilla because they knew there talent alone would beat wake. Although I’m sure the expectations was for more then 17pts.

People always say that Clemson calls the game or plays vanilla intentionally to just a poor performance.

Unfortunately after seeing the decline of this program the last three years vanilla is just who we are.

I think the playbook is limited from our WRs not getting separation. Nobody is open more times that not. On top of that we always seem to play to our opponent. It seems like, even in some of our best times that we only get full effort against a big time team. I know some of that is natural but the drop off cant be as drastic as what we see on a regular basis against an unranked ACC doormat. If we came out against FSU like we did yesterday we would have been railroaded. I just want to see that same fire every game.
