SCAR game - I don't think Dabo will change anything if Clemson wins out and goes 10-2. The only time there has been urgency in the AD is when we lose to SCAR. Not pulling for us to lose, but that's the only way I see Dabo even looking at changing things.

But fur reel dough, even if we lose to those dicksuckers, I don't think he'll change anything. He may take like 1 portal player, but I don't think he changes his staff, NIL stance, or anything else. Why would he now? He'd be 10-2 and regurgitate the same ole, "Clemson fans are spoiled" montage.

I think missing out on another ACCCG and missing the first year of the 12 team playoff is enough for Dabo to take one more peak at what we are doing.
Outside of a very questionable DC/LB coach, he's got as good of a staff on paper as you'd ever really need. A great mix of experience and youth. We can debate about Spiller/Grisham, but every program has a little youth. He made that change.
The next obvious change is roster management, earlier offers in recruiting, and casting a much wider net. With the new 105 scholarship rule, now is the time where Dabo can almost use that as an excuse to make a change with how he deals with "cutting bait". We know he doesn't like to do it, but now he certainly has some freedom to "gently" do it and have a fresh perspective on transfers and how to "stay old" at key spots across the position groups.
I THINK that Dabo is competitive enough to do this without going as far as losing to SCar. Missing this 12 team playoff is inexcusable (I believe) for Dabo. But I could be wrong.

Outside of the hires the past two years, and Mike Reed, is there one single coach that another top 25 program would try to poach?
That is setting aside the fact that our "farm team" of staffers/GAs/analysts is largely former players. We desperately need a transfusion of new ideas and new blood.

- I don't want to continue to fall behind in recruiting because Dabo ignores the portal and a lot of what NIL can bring.
- I don't want to lose to Louisville for the first time EVER, at home, at night.
- I don't want anymore family and friends hires.
- I don't want anymore Swinneys or Venables' or Batsons or Davis' getting to dress out and play meaningful snaps while players like Jay Haynes sit on the bench.
- I don't want Don Munson to be the "Voice of Clemson".
- I don't want to get my hopes up every year for a program that is shooting itself in the foot because we have the most stubborn head coach to ever shave his sideburns higher than his eyeballs.
- I don't want metal detectors.
- I don't want brick retaining walls to eliminate the old hills in lot 5.

But he needs to change his roster management and (continue to change) his friends and family hiring philosophy for staffing.
He is getting paid a lot of money and is leading the program in a way that handicaps us.
We are about two years away from 7-5/8-4 every year with Dabo's current approach.

So a coot win is a distinct possibility. That said, I think what might force Dabo's hand is the severe lack of depth we witnessed this season.
We have GOT to find bodies somewhere and with us losing previous commitments, he will have to find a way. A way he has resisted.

I'm happy with the improvement I'm seeing from this team and do not want to go back to the Tommy days (West or Bowden, but especially West)
We beat the Coots and we'll have another 10 win season. I'm not a spoiled whiny beeatch

Seems to be so to me
Without doing statistical research this seems to be the worst pass rushing group of Tigers in several years
4 star DLs usually aren't ready right away, and we are not developing them quickly enough or they get hurt
Not replacing transfer LBs has hurt, and the young CBs and safeties aren't either. Hoped for much more out of Covil this year. Bet he moves on

you can hope in one hand and chit in the other to see which one fills up first. Past that those who leave highschool looking for the best paying job aren't Clemson type folks. Dabo won't talk money until they are on campus.
That's how it is and how it's going to be with Dabo as HC. You could also (in that hand of hope) hope that Dabo gets fired. You'll find the other hand full with the hope hand empty.

also, it would be nice to fill out depth at LB and DL, especially DE.
Taking 2-4 players a year shouldn't be a crazy expectation, since we lose 6-12 a year transferring out
