discuss athletics for both AZ and AZST, that likely means they are B12 bound and the PAC is done. Udub and Oregon probably won't hesitate to move to the B1G.
Does that put the ACC even further behind accelerate things for FSU, Clemson, Miami, etc...?
There may be something to that Aug. 15 deadline after all.

Yes both our Arizona schools are very soon Big12 locks.
Oregon and Washington are BIG locks.
Rumor tonight had UVA and UNC on BIG wish list with financial help to cover ACC exit costs.
The dance cards are filling quickly.
Timidity is a mistake.

The dominoes are falling.
1. Big 12 will take some teams from PAC 12.
2. That frees up B1G to say, "We didn't destroy the PAC 12, the Big 12 did. We're just helping out a couple of the schools left out in the cold."
3. Then, the SEC can say, "We're just keeping up with the Big 12 and B1G. Some ACC schools came to us and asked if they could join us. We didn't go after them. They came to us. They said they needed us to help all their Title IX sports. So, we agreed."
I'm not sure it will all happen in the next two weeks, but I concede the possibility it might.

You offer a very valid path forward . My only reservation is Czar Sankey’s recent clear comment that SEC is quite content to digest his UT and OK adds snd hold at 16.
The idea that BIG could help finance ACC exit costs for UVA and UNC is super intriguing. They would take reduced revenue share in early years to make it work. Gotta admire that creativity.

allied fairly heavily with the Arizona schools and am going to chat with them about the situation.
I have serious doubts the SEC would be content to remain at 16, if the B1G expands to 20.
Because I have long believed we'd eventually see 20-team super conferences, latest moves have reenforced that belief.

The real facts are, nobody doesn't know what will happen with realignment if there is any movement, especially the fan base for each school. Deals will be made, and new contracts will be signed before the fans know about it!!!
