make Clemson a special place.
I use to think Clemson fans were different, but we aren’t. We are that Clemson family only when the football team is in the top five and things are Elite. After last nights game I see We are just like the fans we use to bash mainly the Gamecocks . During adversity we are not that special Clemson family that pulls together. We don’t hesitate to call for the HC to be fired, throw coaches and players under the bus. Sometimes our fan base can act like a bunch of immature adults. So many of you post the answers to overcoming a loss, but yet I don’t know any on this board that has been a HC at the college level or higher.
Being frustrated after a loss is normal but some always cross the line.
I am a Tiger fan, a Dabo fan and will try to be positive during adversity. Fans have a right to be upset but it’s one game.
And for those pots that thinks it’s funny we lose. Well remember you lose to and things can change overnight in todays college football world.
Go Tigers ! Go Dabo and Staff and support for the players.
Let’s be that Clemson Family that pulls together. Parents and potential recruits are watching and listening to fans responses.

Should just stop watching football. BUT it wasn’t just one loss. It’s 3 of the last 4 and 4 of the last 7. Last night’s result could indicate that the issue wasn’t just last year’s QB and OC. No one wants to win more than Dabo; so, I’m still hopeful that he’ll get the ship straightened out.

that success on the football field will not define him or his happiness. While that's all fine and dandy as an outlook in life and I commend him for it, it doesn't bode well for the future of this program or the urgency needed.

Do you remember last year when Dabo said, "I know the problems and I will get it fixed?" Well, we had the entire off season to deal with it and it isn't fixed.
We can be grateful for the past and disappointed in the present all at the same time.

While your platitudes are sweet, it is important to remember that we've entered into a BUSINESS contract with Dabo and his staff. Dabo didn't have to request multiple raises over the last decade that are now making him one of the top 3 or 4 paid coaches in the country. But him asking for those raises along with the threats of him leaving (either veiled or overt) from this special place to go coach at another "special" place, made us quick to give them to him. Never forget that.

Do you know what you posted is factual. Did Dabo indicate he might leave if he did not get a raise or did he somehow force the administration to give him a raise ?
Like I posted 4 years ago outside of Clemson’s control changes in College Football could and I believe would have a negative affect on Clemson’s Football success in the future.
It was 1 game with the new OC. I am optimistic that we will get better. But I don’t want to win at any cost. Integrity, Character, Honesty, and many other attributes brought 2 more NC trophies to Clemson.
Now we are going through tuff times but I believe given time we will more success under Dabo.

Those are your key words. HAS, as in the past tense.

Internet fans (of all kinds) are generally the worst, so I don't put a lot of stock into what anonymous posters say after a loss.
As far as calling for coaches to be fired, etc...after 1 loss it's nonsense. The internet gives people the chance to vent, especially non-fans posing as Clemson fans.
As far as our performance vs. Duke, I have no explanation, it's perplexing. We got out-coached. We'll see how the rest of the season goes. I think we'll improve. That being said, something is definitely off-kilter in Tiger-Town.

Try not to come un-glued my friend.
You're lashing out. I feel bad for the players, and the fans. They deserve better. But, I'm not ready to define Dabo's tenure at Clemson as a failure after the 1st game of the season.
We all saw the same thing, nobody's blind.
