It wouldn't surprise me. College football is dead and is just free agency 100% of the time. I'm sure our players love Clemson. But they'd be crazy not to entertain offers from other schools. I would. Your football career can be over in the blink of an eye. Look at Theissman, look at Lattimore. And if Peter Woods were to tear something, the fans on here would say "That's terrible. He's in my prayers. Next man up." You owe it to yourself and to your family to make the best decision for yourself.
I'm telling all of you now. Cade, Wesco, Moore, Woods, Parker, and Brown have been or will be approached by other programs offering them large sums of money. It WILL be a factor for all of them, and their staying will depend on our ability to offer them as much as their incoming offers.
I won't predict who might stay and who might go, but anyone saying otherwise is either naive or just plain stupid. That's football now.
