I’d feel much better with a proven commodity at RB and one more OL. But this offense has a chance to be special next year.

If he’s gone, we have to go get another WR from the portal for depth.
Wesco, Moore and Tyler Brown would still a really good trio. But Cole Turner would be our only backup with significant experience.

I think we should be a little better on offense next year, but I don’t see it being elite.
I’m also not convinced Cade comes back. We might also lose another receiver or two.

We won’t have an elite offense unless the Riley/Swinney combo become separated. And I highly doubt that will be the case.

Absolutely one of those people. Not a goofball though you pr!ck. But I know what I see along with 1000s of other people. Last night’s over involvement from him was as obvious as it has been all year.
Our issues stem from the ineptitude on both sides of the ball with this staff. And it starts and ends with Swinney.

The Athletic rated him the 9th best QB out of 12 in this year’s playoffs.
He has some great moments but also plenty of horrible decisions/turnovers. I also don’t think he can consistently throw beyond 15-20 yards.
We do have really good wide receivers but I don’t see the offensive game plan being dynamic enough to be an offense that puts up 40-50 points with any regularity - especially not against really good teams.

Cade was a 40+ TD guy with only 6 INTs, while throwing to 2 true freshmen WRs.
Wesco and Moore are primed for a huge leap in year two. It’s obvious that we hit homeruns with them. Antonio is really good. Tyler Brown will be back from injury. Cade’s weapons are going to be better.
We are also returning 4 offensive linemen. Sewell plays starter snaps. Sadler was playing starter snaps before he got hurt. Elyjah Thurmon was good as a freshman. Our OL is going to be better in year two under Matt Luke.
I’m optimistic that this offense can be elite with Cade leading it.

you have blinders on or you’re just ignorant about football and kids’ development. Look at Cade’s numbers. Watch what he did against the top defense in the country yesterday. He is a big time talent, staff is doing a good job with him, and with another season of maturing and playing with a talented group of receivers, he’s set up for a monster year next year. You are correct, sir.

It should be way better actually. Healthy quality rb's. Elite WRs like Wesco and Moore getting a year in the weight room and in the system. More time for the OL with better coaching. Cade will be more.mature and stronger. There is no reason to not expect a better offense and being elite is not a stretch at all if healthy.

I think you look at the trends. Offense MUCH better this year, especially Cade’s play. Defense MUCH worse. I would expect the trends to continue in their current directions unless coaching changes are made.

But the backups would be Cole Turner, Tristan Smith, Misun Kelly and Carleton Preston.
One guy with real experience, a JUCO guy, a dude with minimal experience and a one with zero experience. We’d definitely need someone else.

We haven’t had a player like that transfer out though. Mukuba left because he was playing out of position and wanted to go home. Beaux left because he wanted to be a true #1 guy. Everybody else have been backups.

why not? Certainly athletic enough. Spring will be an open competition and it's good both Davidson and Henderson are already on campus. Can see another portal WR if Randall is moved. I think our RB is already on the team honestly, and don't discount Green.
I'd add Sadler as a positive on the OL. I think Tink Kelley makes a jump at WR next year.

I think they’ll have 7 experienced guys that we can win with (Leigh, Linthicum, Parks, Miller, Sewell, Sadler and Thurmon). I think Brayden Jacobs will be ready on day one. So, 8 OL that we can win with.
Luke will need to get 2-3 more ready to go.
