Re: I need prayers from all of you for my Mom

My mom has been in a battle the last 6 months. She had stomach Cancer and beat it 3-4 years ago but now she has a mass just outside the tip of her pancreas. It is blocking the duct to the top of her intestines. She has been unable to eat the last 5-6 months and has been on a feeding tube for 3 weeks to get her well enough for whiple surgery to reroute things. She’s weak going into this and her surgery started at 8:00 this morning, it’s a 6 hour surgery. The next three weeks are going to be tough a very life threatening. She’s been a Pastors wife since for 50 years and the best Mama ever. Please keep her in your prayers the next few weeks will be tough but I trust Jesus for a miracle and believe in the power of prayer!

I prayed for your mom and you as I can tell

What a special bond the two of you obviously share. Some aren't as close to their family members so that has been a blessing in your life over the years.
I have learned to say this after giving my own testimony many times which I will do you the favor of avoiding telling you.
Just remember everyone Jesus saved still eventually passed away by some other means as that is a common bond we as living humans share as a common bond. However as men and women of faith we are born again Praise God and only He knows when that should be.
Also I learned after a testimony, and have always remembered, when we are the beneficiaries of the gift of healing through God's power and prayer when we share that incredible event with others we should be ready to explain why someone just as strong in Faith as we are didn't get the same answer to prayer in spite of a beautiful and more deserving person's loved one didn't achieve the same Faith based healing.
The obvious reason is why did the Mighty God save me with his loving mercy and not someone just as if not much more deserving.
After much prayer over this God spoke with me with the answer.
Your loved one, in this case your mother, is already saved through the answer of prayer. For she was spared back when she gave her Life to God and was reborn through His sacrifice and suffering when she accepted God into her heart.
So you see even though we remain hopeful of extending her days with us by our side because of our loving desire to be near her, she will always be near you and their by your side as a fellow believer in Jesus Christ.
I will continue to pray for both of you. Just remember God has already answered your prayer and mine and all these other prayers as long as she knows and believes.
God bless you and grant you strength, peace and understanding during this time.
