This guy has a great web site and posts on TI and FB all the time about BBQ. If you like hash - here is the story:

I thought you had to finish in a year or start over.
A friend is the local organizer for Union so I’m looking forward to it. Had fun when SBN sanctioned it so I know it will be good with SCBA

Made it myself because the Upstate sux at barbecue hash. Turned out great....ALMOST as good as the real Duke's. I halfed everything though to keep it to a nominal amount.
When I was a kid and the parents took us out for BBQ, a plate of Hash & Rice was all I wanted. Love the stuff.

That's the recipe I like, too.
I am working on a print version of the e-cookbook we published last fall (https://destination-bbq.com/going-whole-hog-sc-bbq-cookbook-with-recipes-for-sauces-rubs-hash-meats-and-sides/). It will include a lot more hash recipes than we've published on the site.
The first book had all of these recipes:

Thanks to you both.
It is just a hobby site and really it is just me, even though I find myself writing "we" all the time. Anyway, it is my pleasure and I only hope what "we" do helps support SCBBQ in some small way.
Hope you enjoyed the book. Did you get the "Digital Edition" or the "Permanent Edition"?
If you got the permanent, you will be sent the second edition automatically as soon as it is available....but I am way behind my own self-imposed schedule. I wanted it done this fall, but that is not going to happen. Stay tuned and thanks again!
