NO ONE has come right out and bragged on how well DJ is throwing the ball. It's always he's moving around better and more mobile( due to his weight loss) and that he works VERY hard and he's a leader. Nothing concerning his accuracy, seeing the field better, finding secondary receivers, check offs....nothing.

And no one has said that Cade is making unbelievable throws and Incredible plays, ect. When DW and TLaw were at this stage of their game the coaches talked about this incredible run or this incredible throw that maybe only a handful of people could have made, ect. We are not hearing these reports nor is the media? DJ will have to be injured for Cade to start. And the offense will be very good if DJ and his skill players are healthy!

But a word that Dabo never used to describe Trevor, Deshaun, or Tajh was "Solid" they were always described as micheal jordan, Best QB in the nation, night and day better, the guy...but never solid. This worries me. If by the end of week 2 DJ doesn't have at least 7 total touchdowns he's not who he needs to be

Something we are not hearing is that he is really throwing the ball well, very accurate, catchable ball, looking off receivers, etc. That would be nice.

DJ seems like a great athlete and shows alot of skill in skeleton or 1on1 drills but as soon as he's in live action he overthinks his play. He has no flow in or outside the pocket. He throws with all upper body and often doesn't step into his throws. This is one major problem with his touch and tempo causing him to be very inaccurate. I think he does have the tools to be great if he can put em all together. Go Tigers!!!

Tools left in the tool box don't fix many problems, nor provide the tweaks that help things run better. Hopefully, the tool box gets opened and the mechanic really is a journeyman. We will know shortly. I hope he, along with the OL, have made great improvements, and we blow the doors of this season and end this crap coming from pundits who only mention us as a past factor that has left the best behind.

It breaks all of our hearts that the DJ we saw in 2020 wasn't the DJ we saw in 2021. I was at the Spring Game, as many of you were, he looked as bad in spring as he looked all season long. I'm not a coach, but seeing what I saw makes me wish I had the voice of an insider to say to any fellow coach that they need to stop pumping the sunshine and give the ball to Cade. Cade looked great in the Spring. I'm tired of politics... I don't want politicians who lie to us in the White House or on the Grid Iron. Spot the ball! Be honest and lets move forward please...

I was at the spring game as well and agree with you 100% with one minor deviation. The coaches have said Cade looked great all spring however I didn't think Cade had a great spring game. His throws were off and his arm strength was not overly strong. I felt like both DJ and Cade looked overwhelmed. Now looking past the spring game, Cade's arm will get stronger, his mobility might be better than Watson's, his timing will improve and he will master the nuances of the offense. It is very evident he is a tremendous leader with off the charts upside. He will be 2-3 year starter and perform at an incredibly high level.
I think at least early on, we may still have some frustrating QB play. Hopefully by game 4 one of the two has established themselves. I think Streeter has a plan if this happens and that will be ground and pound. We can beat everyone minus ND and CFP opponents if we have too employ this approach. Hopefully, one of the two grows and develops in the first half of the season so we can transition into a balanced attack.

I wouldn't take much from the Spring game. The QBs were working with 1/2 of an average OL and 1/2 of an average WR corps against a SUPER DEEP front 7.
Each side's starting 11 on offense had the talent equivalent of a Group of 5 school

You are correct, OL continuity was very lacking for the spring game. Would have preferred to see good on good. 1's vs. 1's and 2's vs. 2's.
