Yes, but his answer wasn't very convincing for how solid he is with Clemson. His feet could be at ECU just as easily and he would be where his feet are, just saying!!!

Why would you disparage the man! If He thinks the ECU job is best for Him and His Family then God Bless Him. When You are an up and coming Coach with results like He has produced your name will always be mentioned for open positions! It does not mean He is leaving or that He never will
He should interview for jobs! Get's him experience and perhaps a pay raise!
He did not sign a life long contract with Clemson and he probably will leave! Thank The Good Lord He is here now!

I have to agree with you there. I will say that I've heard Dabo say the exact same thing. Hopefully he's happy where those feet are and appreciates the learning process undo Dabo. Riley still has alot to prove but I'm happy with the progression so far. Go Tigers!!!!

I think that BV will right the ship at Oklahoma, but if for some stupid reason they did let him go, I pray that Dabo will do whatever it takes to get him back at Clemson. I love high octane offenses, and I love really aggressive defenses, and we had that BV!!!

all i'm saying is that it's futile to ask coaches these questions. if they're not going anywhere, they're gonna say they're not going anywhere. if they ARE going somewhere, they're gonna say they're not going anywhere. they're not gonna go down that path of conversation w/ anyone. they don't want to hurt their current team.. they don't want current players and coaches to quit on them.. and, they're not officially at the new place, so anything can still happen. so, the safe bet is to deny, deny, deny... til it's time to fly.
and, with all that said.. i don't think Riley is going anywhere........ yet. but, dabo better have a plan in place for when he does move on.

I feel like Clemson OC is an even better position to have to make that jump. Lower power 4 teams would take a look at the young OC of a top 10 team just as much as a group of 5 head coach.
And there’s less risk in staying at Clemson. Things could go badly at ECU like they did for Jeff Scott at USF

Jumping to head coach would be a dumb career move. If he waits for 4 years or so he could land a real head coach gig.
