Duke belongs in the south

With the rest of the research triangle. Also, any chance to get in the opposite division of FSU gets my vote. No reason we shouldn't be able to face them for the championship consistently. Make them our permanent opponent if you want but I don't want an early loss to them to kill our chances of a championship anymore.

IF that were the case I would...........

prefer the north Division.

Better road trips ;)

Replyed to an earlier post.Tell you the same thing:
1) Notre Dame is not playing football!
2) No way Duke and UNC play in opposite divisions.Either N.C.State or Wake go to North, and Duke comes to the South
3) Where is Maryland? They haven't left yet.
4) Penn State might not want to leave the Big 10.

Lose MD, get Navy, PSU and ND as a full member.

Split into four divisions among two "leagues":

Deep South:
FSU
Clemson
Ga. Tech
Wake

Mid-Atlantic:
UNC
NC State
Duke
UVA

North:
Syracuse
Pitt
Va. Tech
PSU

Atlantic:
BC
Miami
Navy
ND

In-division plays 3x per year.

Permanent 1x cross-division matching Deep South with Atlantic and Mid-Atlantic with North for the following:

FSU-Miami
CU - BC
Wake - Navy
Ga Tech - ND
Va. Tech - UVA
UNC - Pitt
NC St. - PSU
Duke - Syr

2x cross-division within league (Deep South/Mid-Atlantic;
North/Atlantic)

1x H/A with remaining 3 teams from permanent rival division (3 teams in 3 years set-up)

1x H/A with remaining division (4 teams in 4 years set-up)

8 league games annually
Equal rotations established
Geographic harmony for greater fan support
Protects rivalries
Balanced between north/south style CCG representatives.
