I wonder if Chris Grier is regretting letting Wilkins get away. Dolphins D is missing the energy and Relentless play that he brought. Everybody in the NFL is talented but when you find a guy who mixes talent with intangibles like CW, you figure out a way to pay him. I've seen it too many times to count at Clemson and Miami when we needed a stop and CW found a way to make it happen. Dude is just a winner. There's no way Fins would have choked that game up yesterday with CW. The Jalen Ramsey or Tua money would have been much better spent on him.

Ramsey maybe. Not Tua. You saw how terrible they were without him.

The QB market in general is out of control, but that's the price and you can't win without one.

Agree about the QB assessment but Tua's next concussion is probably a career ender. I honestly doubt he makes it to age 30 before being out of the league

Agreed. They need to draft whoever will be next in line. Manage it like the Packers do...that model has proven to be very successful for them.

This is just one of many reasons I don't care about the NFL, as soon as they get a player that can do their job as good or better than anyone they've had, they will close their wallet and let them get away. And why I've always loved college FB is bc everything usually stays the same with players until they graduate and we already know that's going to happen. But I'm already seeing the portal and the NIL is working hard to totally ruin college FB for me/us...
