we don't go 11-1 or 10-2 with the schedule we have left I would consider it a pretty disappointing year. Not to mention that our toughest opponents left to play are all at home.

yep it will be a function of the D. I am encouraged that it keeps improving. that is essential. this week is a big test but if we play well the guys can grow a lot in skills and confidence by beating GT.

I am 73 years old and am so tired of posts like this. I remember attending Clemson games for years and being thankfull any time we won. Kids all over America, college & youth football practice play after play giving it their all. THEY play their hearts out and all fans & parents say is "Why did you not win? There is no excuse for not winning" NEVER MIND it is sometimes a lucky bounce!!

defense, we can lose nearly every game too. We are going to have a bad offensive game or two somewhere down the line, whether it be dropped passes, flat ol line, bad throwing day for boyd, whatever....but if our defense can hang tough and just keep improving , even just a little bit, game by game ,then we stand a good chance of having a strong finish....and taking care of the dirtpeckers at home....
