I May Skip Thanksgiving with Family

Already dealt with another Gamecock family member tonight saying we have no quality wins.
I told them we beat all but two opponents we’ve played. Plus, we beat most of those games in dominant fashion.
I don’t doubt that it will be a tough game, but the Gamecocks have not shown any greater dominance than us. We definitely have the best offensive and we should at least be equal on defense. And, I hope our fans show up loud and rowdy.
I’m not one that likes to put football over family. But, I really don’t want to put up with constant chatter about our team on Thanksgiving.
Where do you draw the line with family or friends?

That's something I always used on my #### BIL who was actually a good dude. However, when he got a bit salty about the #####, I would remind him based on the numbers, both of us would almost assuredly go to our graves with the Tigers ahead.
Unfortunately for him that is already true and it looks like things will hold that way for me unless the Tigers were to totally go bust and I were to split 100 wide open.
Go Tigers!!!

Here Here, and I can honestly say that I don't have any coot friends, and if I didn't have one friend I would remain friendless before I would become a friend with a coot. I did have several up until the 3d straight wins they got on us and those friendships ended.
All the years that Clemson was beating the coots, I never once rubbed it in on my coot friends and a few of them had said that they respected that about me. By the time they got that 3d straight win over our Tigers, they would call me on the phone to rub it in with things like they had passed us and we would never beat them again. That X coot friend became the most obnoxious friend that I had ever had in my lifetime,
On 11-27-2011 that friendship ended forever in my back yard, he has a bridge where his two front teeth used to be when our friendship ended bc I had heard all I intended to hear from him that day. The best part besides him losing his front teeth, it was 11-27 is my Birthday, and I wasn't going to listen to anymore of his coot bullchit on my B Day, so I ended the friendship!!!
That was 12 years ago today, and after hearing they had passed us and we wouldn't ever beat them again, we have since beat them 8 of the last 9 games we've played them, and 7 of those 8 were 7 straight, and he still hasn't been able to grow 2 new front teeth!!!

You sound like a class A redneck.
I'm not going to try and play a part that wouldn't fit bc there has been moments during my lifetime as whole that I have been called a red neck even though I have never felt like a red neck. I will say this on my behalf, there are millions of people in the USA that will pay an awful lot of money to go watch a fight and I have done so myself a few times. I will be truthful here as 72 year old man and I'm feeling old but from a very young kid and throughout most of my life I actually liked fighting, it was challenge to me and I enjoyed it, and I loved the adrenaline rush that came with squaring off with another dude and see who is the best at fighting, and I've become pretty good friends with some guys that I've kicked their butt.
The truth, I've only had my butt kicked once, and it was by a dude that he and I had been good friends all our lives, and before we ever got into a fight, I had always felt that I could kick his butt but he proved that I couldn't that night, but I wanted to try him again when neither of us had been drinking bc when we fought I think I had a couple to many to drink. Call it whatever makes you feel good bc I grew up liking the challenge of a fist fight, but when the truth is told most fights that I have been in was mostly bc I was taking up for a friend bc the guys wanting to fight them, they knew they could win against them, and I didn't see that a challenge, and I would tell them to try me bc I would be a better challenge for them, sometimes they would try me, but most of the time they wouldn't bc they knew me.
Yes, there was a time in my life that I loved the challenge of a fist fight, and I loved that adrenaline rush that came with it. Was I red neck, some probably thought that I was, personally I never thought of myself as a red neck bc I loved the challenge of it...

at the post. Since I know you're a pathetic coot troll with no wit, I'll simply submit that I draw the line at you'll never be relevant. You never have and never will be. You've tried so hard and 30+ losses yet still are complete losers.
Clemson will still own this state long after your illegitimate children adopted by democrats' great, great, etc children pass.
It just means more.

I accept the ones that are gay, trany and lesbians but I'm not having coots sit at my table. A man's gotta draw the line somewhere!
I hope everyone knows I'm kidding but I have only one foreign particle in my family and he's a Vol SNL. I told him I was born in TN and I've better sense than that. I suggest you smile and dedicate Saturday evening to calling them, telling them how much I love them and how very sad it made you knowing that they are miserable from the askwhuppin' Clemson laid on their playoff wannabes.

I also have coots in our family. As I have grown older, I choose not to argue about football on a holiday. I agree with whatever they say, state it should be a good game then change the subject. After all, you will not change the other person’s view plus you will know for sure on Saturday. Happy Thanksgiving!

I would follow this advice.
"Here's the game plan. You're gonna bring us 2 Absolut Martinis. You know how I like them. Straight up. And then precisely 7 and one half minutes after that, you're gonna bring us 2 more. Then 2 more after that every 5 minutes until one of us passes the xxxx out."

I tell them they are absolutely correct and we will be lucky to win Saturday. Then I soak up the comments from them like"I just don't get it were are so much better than Clemson." Learned a long time ago you just can't argue with them. It's like wrestling a pig in mud.

All of America doesn't respect a team in a conference that is so weak, at the most, might have one big game a year and where football is second fiddle or doesn't care about it at all. You fellows can't comprehend that but that's how the ACC is looked upon by the North, the South and the Southwest areas that view football as a sport. The ACC used to see that way toward everyone else with basketball but they've been overtook in that area, too. No need for kinfolk and friends to fued over it. You would have been out of that joke of a conference if not being so stupid to sign the GOR twice.

I understand, as a Vol fan, why you hang on conference affiliation as you have nothing else to hang your hat on. We don’t have to do that because we have won two nattys by kicking the living chit out of your SEC “best college football team ever”. Yeah, I know, you beat us in a meaningless bowl, so there’s that …….

“You have more losses “
