to remove the entire rock, which failed. It appears that then they tried to smash the rock, chipping a large piece off of it.

Bottom line is, someone tried to effing STEAL our rock.

This is war.

And can only thank the good Lord that they failed. The rock is something beyond football or any sport it's a part of Clemson history and a huge thing that pops into one's mind when they think of Clemson or Death Valley. People who don't even know us that well know that our players rub the rock before running down the hill.
