Leggett seems like a narcissist. I hope he can handle the advisor role.

T-Net is a site where we're supposed to be able to share our opinions regardless if someone's opinion was a big hit among a group of people that we hope are truly Tiger fans. I really don't have a problem with someone having a different opinion than all others as long as they're not purposely being downright nasty towards what the discussion is about.

I'm excited to see what the Bakich coaching staff has for his first season as the head Tiger, and it do appear that he has put together an experienced coaching staff that I hope will make us all proud of our Tiger baseball team!!!

I thought we hated Leggett - I can't keep up anymore. ">
Seriously, the boards are gonna love this. It didn't take long for the first negative comment, I see.

I have always liked Leggett. Heard interviews after his departure and I always come away with that man really loves Clemson. Do not believe he ever moved away.

One of the reasons, among many others Lee was a failure was not using Coach J L as a resource. Instead he spurned him completely.

I’m not sure how feasible that was with DRad still in the picture.

I’d probably sell my dignity for the dollars, and/or the joy of coaching.

Looks like a great coaching staff (including using Leggett in an advisory role). Can’t wait for baseball season to start. Pitch the ball!

If I’m reading this right, sounds like Leggett may be the conduit to alumn and businesses to help with donations to the NIL collectives.

the hiring of Monte Lee. I was one of the many that was duped into believing he was a home run hire. I am genuinely excited again though. I like the addition of the ex FSU pitching coach and that solid assistant coach. Sounds like it will be a fun season

Can’t have two head coaches. I see JL as a meddler. His teams got so wound up they couldn’t play. Just my opinion.

I'm thinking this will be more like Frank Howard being around for years. He was no longer a coach in the role. His title was just "Legend"

That's what I was thinking, kind of like the head mascot/cheerleader where he can be allowed to be close to the team, and Bakich can use him if needed.

The homerun is what got Lee fired. He tried to teach the so called modern day swing to players who didn't have the talent to hit Homer's.

I just hope the approach at the plate by the Tiger batters will be a whole lot better under Erik Bakich than it was during the Monte Lee era.Just so many strikeouts by Monte's teams whether it be looking at 3rd strikes or swinging at bad pitches. They were always swinging for the fences and coming up empty way to much.Yea they had seasons where they were ranked high in the ACC and Nationally in homeruns hit in a season but that did not get them to a Super Regional or a College World Series and speaking of the Super Regionals and College World Series this new staff looks like they know and have the background of what it will take to get Clemson back to something more than just a Regional for the first time since 2010.
