But given how bad the ACC has looked so far, saying we run the table isn't much of a stretch.

I agree, put Georgia in the rear view mirror and win the rest of the games one at a time! We should get our offense straightened out, and start rolling…..
Go Tigers, win them all one-at-a-time!

Or he could just be trying to make his alma mater's win look better than it is by picking their victim to go 11 & 1.

Aaron Murray is no different.
Clemson will most definitely lose to Miami. Clemson will probably lose to NCSU. Clemson may lose to VT. Clemson will lose to Louisville.
Swinney is in the stage of his career where he's been f'king around - and now he's finding out.

I have to disagree about all those losses. We did really well on D the first half. I doubt many will do what we did, if any. And Cade struggled, but like Aaron said, it was against the toughest team. In the first game. Cade needs to do better. The coaches need to do better. Cole needs to do better. There's a lot to do better. But the sky is NOT falling.
Go tigers!

I definitely agree that the shy is still overhead, and with that said I will also add that our Tigers do have a couple of coaching misfits...

I would love to take your money from your predictions.
Miami can be good, but they usually implode by mid-season, and I expect it again this year. So, when would we play them?
We have to get our Offense back on track. We should win them all. It will be interesting, but that’s why they play the games…..

Didn't we think our Tigers would go 11-1 after we screwed-up the Duke game last year? We had a much better Defense last year.
In the Duke game, I think we missed 3 FGs -- we didn't need FGs, we needed TDs.
In 2023, after Duke we played Charleston Southern and had a small lead at halftime. The final score did not indicate Once again, our offense could not sustain drives. Then another easy game and once again the offense was putrid most of the game, against a light-weight team.
Then NCSU cleaned our clock, while our offense fumbled and stumbled.
We were well-prepared for FSU but gave it away. Mafah forgot to block. We still had a chance, then we had a short FG attempt go wide.
Our (better in '23) defense could not stop Miami from running the ball off-tackle, over and over, when it mattered.
Unfortunately, I see our Tigers struggling with App (but winning), but losing to NCSU, Miami, VT, and Loserville.
Dabo can no longer accurately evaluate his team's talents. (Too many 'yes-men.') He needs Scott, badly, for OC, WRs, and recruiting coordinator. Dabo needs to take a salary cut and pay Scott the full amount he asks.

We will not lose to Miami in the regular season. And if you’re implying it will be in the ACCCG then we will not lose all the other games you cite.

I don't care how bad the league is. If you can't reliably score points, you're going to lose some games.. just the way it is.

Louisville is gonna be really good. Jeff Brohm is an outstanding coach and did miracles with a bad Purdue team. They won’t be a pushover and he had them in the title game in his first season there. I’m not meaning to be negative, but all ESPN talking heads are pretty much blowhards. I hope Clemson does run the table, but it’s not the cakewalk he insinuated

All that is a lovely excuse.
However, Clemson's offense should be able to stand up to ANY defense.
Yes... that is frustration built from 4 years of decline.

the fact that UGA is just that good. Problem for me is, it looked exactly like the offense that lost the opener to Dook last year, and the same offense that sucked the entire year. Look, my "insights" have been proven wrong many times, where Dabo has been proven right, so it's not like my pride is at stake when I share my opinion like this. I thought Murray's analysis was excellent, based off of that one game. But before I can start believing things are different, I'm gonna have to see it.

These comments are interesting and encouraging, but they really speak more to the weakness within the ACC than to Clemson's strength. I think what is so discouraging is the wide gulf between Georgia and Clemson. I certainly did not expect victory, or even a nail biter, but 34-3....
In the playoffs, other teams will have at least some or perhaps much of Georgia's capabilities, which means Clemson, if even in the hunt, will be a quick departure in the absence of lots of growth during the season. We'll see.

Even if that were true... it shows how far behind we are talent wise... from just 5 years ago... and that is a failure of the staff.

At this point, all you can hope for is for the Tigers to get better each game. Not about to say we will go undefeated to get to the ACC championship game but, what he says make a lot of sense. It was a extremely tough task game #1 and, with him sitting back and breaking it down like he did makes me feel just a little better. We have a lot of talent, its all about confidence & executing now. Let's see what happens saturday night... GO TIGERS!!!

Hmmm. How does Aaron Murray expect us to run the table if we can't score touchdowns? Right now I'm worried about getting past App State.
