Just prior to football season this year, I was doing some garage remodeling. I ran across an old Clemson flag that I used to fly as a yard decoration.

Given all the preseason hype, in my exuberance, I decided to display the flag proudly in my yard.

This morning it hit me. This flag was one I had used during the Tommy Bowden era. Needless to say the flag has been removed and properly laid to rest IAW traditional protocols.

I apologize for all the angst this oversight on my part has caused this season. I expect things to turn around dramatically for the remaining games.

Go Tigers! Beat the Seminoles!!

I broke out my orange t-shirt with the white Clemson word mark across the chest. I believe that was Tommy West's final year. It's full of holes and the white print is chipping away. I should have known better.

Interesting you should say that about the flag. I put new flags up at 2 locations this summer and proudly had the Tiger Paw displayed from on high. I noticed the other day that after some of the high winds and storms recently, both my Clemson flags are tattered and worn. They look like a battle flag after a Civil War battle. When I looked at them, I thought that the tattered flags were very appropriate for the hard times at Clemson Football right now.
