Eh, he can go spend his Dr Pepper and Bojangles money.
Everyone here forgets that money he has made. Just thinks he is in it for the love of the game. His dad is even shopping his son for dollars

I can't feel sorry for him. He had as much power as the coaches to get better or take himself out the game. I don't hate him, never will but I'm not gonna console him like a toddler telling him "it's okay, you'll get them next week." It's been 3 years now of being in the program. Do better or have enough pride to step aside for the next guy to have his shot.

I’m sorry dude. Football is a game. You have 1st 2nd and 3rd string or more. Life is a competition. You fall in one of this categories. Dj should have been benched in this game or we should have just ran the ball. I don’t feel any sorry for that guy. He had the best opportunity to win today. I have a saying. We can’t all be winners. Dj is not a winner in football elite quarterback play. He may be great at ucf but not Clemson. Other players have bailed him out all year. Seems like a great guy but an average or below average quarterback. That’s ok. We can’t all be the elite. He should just be great a being an employee and husband. Or whatever else he wants to be. No ill will.

I don't feel sorry for him. This comes with the territory of being a D1 QB. Some succeed; some fail.
Last year, I believe he failed so badly because of overconfidence, overeating and lack of dedication. This year, we saw the best he could do and it wasn't enough.
If DJ can't take failure, he shouldn't have come to a big-time college program.
On the other hand, people who are ridiculing and insulting DJ are juvenile pathetic losers.
In 2022, DJ truly gave his best but was clearly not up to the task. Yet, Dabo stayed with him anyway. Repeated failure is what happens when a person is asked to do more than they are capable of.

LOL DJ will live a perfectly fine life like the rest of us. This happens to at least 70% of college qbs anyways, it’s just magnified for DJ because it’s Clemson.

I agree, I feel bad for the kid. He was probably told his whole life he was going to be the next #1 draft pick in the NFL. He went to college & it just hasn’t worked out. He busted his ### this off-season too. Losing 35lbs is extremely difficult but he did it to better himself. He’s just a young man playing a game.

He never had confidence. He is a scared 235 pound QB who wouldn’t start at any Div 1 school

Are you kidding me? This kid has been coddled and promoted on national TV and yet he can’t win a friggin game and a home game filled with Clemson fans because he can’t pass or run and yet Dabo supports him and we’re going to feel sorry for this kid I’m sorry I’ve had it with this I’m a Clemson fan but I’m done … the rest of the team defense ,offensive line everybody should be pissed as hell!
