I don't understand how A. Booth has gotten so bad (video)

It's like the moment he got drafted he was stripped of all his talent. He was a total disaster at the Vikings and they were happy to move on from him. Then he got a second chance with the Cowboys and he wasn't any better last year. Looks like they are giving him one more chance in camp this year and the results don't look good. Look at the DB #25 for the Cowboys below. At this rate he'll be out of the league in a week or two. https://x.com/JordanGush/status/1953490227634290936

The NFL is a whole 'nother level of talent. He was great at Clemson. Sometimes it translates, sometimes it doesn't..

Right? Davante Adams - a borderline HOF WR. Not to say that Booth may not have the chops to stick or make an impact like we thought but Adams ain't some practice squad WR making him look silly. This guy is an elite route runner.

Unfortunately, far lesser known players have looked like Jerry Rice against him as well. He was getting raked over the coals by Vikings fans while he was there. The slander is even higher now that he plays for the higher profile Cowboys. The Twitter (or X) search on him is brutal.

Having the most "Talent"

...in the NFL doesn't guarantee success.
Many of the most physically talented players never even make the league. Booth has ALL the physical talent for sure.
But, talent without work ethic, grit, football I.Q., dedication, etc, will only get you so far.
Tom Brady for example, wasn't even close to being the most physically talented QB in the league when he played. Not by a country mile.
DeAndre Hopkins isn't Clemson's most "talented" WR of all time...and the beat goes on, and on.

Being good against college opposition in no way means that will carry over to the NFL but at least he made it to the league.
