Mostly, I think, everyone is more concerned that Clemson is not what was promised and it will show itself true with the GT game.

I don't care who is it, I am always nervous when the opponent has a mobile QB. I can't count how many times over the years I have watched our Defense either collapse the pocket only to let the QB get away or have great coverage on the perimeter with no one open, for the QB to run for a 1st down or worse.
King is an elite runner, I think GT lacks weapons outside of him, but he is going to cause problems for us Saturday. They are going to score. Our offense HAS TO show up ready to play.
Go Tigers.

I think he is a good player. This isn’t a king bash comment but he is not an elite runner. Last season he only had like 540 rushing yards. Like 90 more than Cade. He is a good runner. Not going to beat you with speed and open field misses. Just make him pay every time he runs.

For his career hes averaging 5.6 ypc, and hes has multiple seasons over 6 which is an elite number for anyone. Cades career rushing average is 2.6ypc - not even in the same stratosphere.

Not sure we were promised anything. We expected better play from a very experienced team. Having said that I have been nervous about stopping the GT offense ever since I saw them on our schedule. They have an excellent RB and QB and run a variety of formation. It will be a tough game for us.

The team has played well enough to be 2-0.

The QB not so much.
Defense held a powerful LSU offense 100 yards less than what they normally get. Gave up 14 points in the 2nd half. Offense had guys open all night - and we know how that went.
Defense held Troy to 10 points. Offense scored 27 straight and ran the ball at will to end the game.
I don’t understand you dudes acting like the “team” has been horrendous. It’s simply not true.

It sucks we let them score 10 and it will go against our defense. Technically too me the defense only gave up 7. The field goal was a result of Troy returning AR’s fumble back like 50 yds and getting short field position.

Well since you are this dumb let me give you some facts: outside the top 80-90 in total offense and outside the top 80 in explosive plays . This offense has been horrendous and it’s not debatable . You have trouble with anyone that tells the truth if it isn’t sunshine pumping fanboy homerism . Make no mistake this offense has been bad . Please be here Saturday at 3:30 to admit how wrong you were after GaTech removes any remaining doubt as to where we stand as a program.

Lots of truth to that!
I thought GT would be a tough challenge before the season started. I didn't necessarily think we'd lose to them.
Now, I'd be surpised if we go down there and win based on what I've seen so far...

Cades a big part of my concern. However, he’s rebounded in the past when his back was against the wall like SMU and Texas. Hopefully happens again.

Yes. Very worried and expecting Cade to suck. He has sucked for 8 quarters this season. He sucked against SC, Louisville, and UGA last year. He sucked for the 2nd half against SMU. He sucked during the first half of the Texas game. Unfortunately, he has some mental issues that don’t seem to be able to be corrected.

We’ve seen a game where the QB didn’t meet expectations but the team played winning football and left the win on the field.
We saw a bizarre half where nothing went right but only 10 points were given up. In the second half we shut them out and scored 14 point to finish the game on a 27-0 run.
Please elaborate how this equates to, “Clemson is not what was promised”.

You only need to look at the injury report to know the Tigers already shaky Oline will still be shuffling players around. Cade’s performance and running game figures to be impacted by that situation. I hope we see the offense break out but I don’t expect that. I also don’t see the defense holding the offense under 20pts.

If you are worried Clemson is not as promised and that might show up in the GT game, wouldn’t that make you nervous about the outcome?

Mostly, I think, everyone is more concerned that Clemson is not what was promised and it will show itself true with the GT game.
The only thing I disagree with is if you watched last year/2 games in this year you know Haynes King and Jamal Haynes are a heck of a 1-2 punch in the back field. Now their defense? I have no clue how good they are. I know last year they had an old school linebacker with a cowboy collar who hit hard, but not sure if he's back this year. But seeing as how our offense would struggle with Abbeville's JV defense, it's gone from "could be a good game" to full on we could easily lose this game and it get out of hand with another poor offensive showing.
