I don't know, but I do know that Spurrier is a young 68

Jan 18, 2014, 10:53 PM

I saw Mick Jagger and The Stones in a concert this past summer (on video) and Mick moved all over the place - while singing - for almost 2 hours and Mick is 70.

Spurrier could be at SCAR for quite a few more years.

Dang iPhone put this as a separate thread should have been under "where will SCAR be in 8 years"

Jan 18, 2014, 10:56 PM

Don't feel like editing so I'll just leave it.

Awesome post 80, as always.

LOL

Jan 19, 2014, 1:37 PM

Yeah, he's gonna get carpal tunnel from all the cut-n-pastes of "tell em coot". A simply brilliant retort, no doubt.

Just hanging around the bus station picking my nose.

Hartins is 108, what's your point

Jan 18, 2014, 11:11 PM

And Bill is our 147 yr old "ambassador" mascot who roomed with Strom, so let's not pull rank. Both could "depends" Jagr under the table. DSP can verify.

Stay out of our depends.

Jan 19, 2014, 1:17 PM

You sir, are the wrong gender to be dallying around in a man's depends.

Mick didn't play college and pro football

Jan 18, 2014, 11:17 PM

Spurrier can barely walk at this point. Watch him try and job off at half time, it looks like someone is tazing him.

I'm making reference to the fact that 68 apparently ain't what many think it is and using 70 yo Jagger as an example.

So many on this board are hanging their hopes for beating SCAR on Spurrier quitting because of age......that is a loser's mentality. Simply being the better team whether Spurrier is in Columbia or not should be the goal.

And regarding Spurrier's injuries, if all you're talking about is some knee issues I wouldn't put it past that guy to keep coaching from a wheel chair.

I heard he can only play a few holes of golf before having

to quit and that he's in severe pain everyday.

Good grief, Spurrier hobbles around on the field like an arthritic commercial. He cannot run off the field with the team. Physically, I think he's getting in bad shape.Maybe he can coach from a wheelchair.

He'll have to learn how to drive.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

he'll get a dui if he gets a motorized wheelchair.

Jan 19, 2014, 4:42 AM

no doubts about that.

Jagger doesn't have substance abuse issues like Slurrier

Jan 19, 2014, 1:11 PM

Have been watching Jagger for 40 years or more - have never seen Mick as obviously trashed as Steve Spurrier on his own television show. Steve reminds more of Keith Richard...

trigger fast enough. I'm only 61 and haven't had a drug problem since the 70s so that's no excuse for being slow.

He's smart, cognitive and creative. He's one of the best coaches in the business. He's done more at USuCk than I'd have ever thought possible.

I have great respect for him for his accomplishments but I've seen him throw deep against Vandy with a 40 point lead late in the fourth quarter. Therefor, I'll call him tasteless and a cad for his lack of sportsmanship.
