First let’s look at our starters

Friday- Knaak
Saturday- ? Maybe Allen can fill this role
Sunday- Bailey

Darden maybe you move him to midweek. Or a relief pitcher.

But looking at relief pitchers we’ve got guys that can come through. This bullpen is part of why Clemson is winning these series against ranked opponents taking 2 of 3 games.

Fitzgerald

Bell- this is one that can be huge for us late in the season.

If Bakich can figure out the formula that works. I could see this Clemson team at least making it to a super regional again. And if the draw is right you take your chances and hope you can get hot at the right time. Omaha isn’t a impossible possibility and I’m not as worried about pitching as some are.

We need our number 2 and 3 starters to be at least consistently average. Knaak will keep us competitive in most games, but are we going to hit the aces of most teams? If we lose game one against quality opponents, we’re going to find ourselves in a tough spot.
