Just saw we got run ruled. That is an absolute embarrassment and disgusting disgrace. If we want to be a top baseball program this cannot happen. The season isn’t over by the long run, but this crap cannot continue to happen.

We pitched a ton of freshman and second year guys that have never seen the field for whatever reason treated it like we were playing the citadel… baffling!

If you hope that’ll I will be gone, you will deal with me all season long as I am a die hard Tiger fan. If we treated this game like a midweek game like some suggest, that is an embarrassing coaching blunder that doesn’t make any logical sense. Some can be mad, we need to perform better against the SEC. I’m tired of their narrative and want it destroyed. It kills me when Clemson doesn’t handle them. We SHOULD treat game against them as a must win game.

You nailed it on why I’m so frustrated. Love my Tigers but games against the SEC shouldn’t be taken lightly. Ton of season to still play, but our sample size isn’t good against them now. I want the Tigers in Omaha this year. Do not want them to lose to an SEC school in a super or at Omaha. If we want to be the best, we win games like this. Hopefully it was an off game. I know I’m not going to watch the replay.

“Didn’t watch today’s game” clearly. So don’t chime in lol. Every single guy except McGovern who pitched today had basically no college experience. If they come out and pitch well then maybe we can rely on them going forward, if they pitch poorly then we lose by 10 instead of 6… who cares what the run differential is.

So because I was on the golf course and didn’t pay to watch the game on Flo after listening to the the first two games on radio means I don’t deserve to have an opinion? Get out of here with that crap. If Clemson decided to pitch a bunch of guys that can’t pitch in a game against the SEC and we lost because of it, clearly we need to do better. I’d rather lose to PC doing that crap than against a team from the SEC. We might’ve gotten big headed if we tired that mess against Ole Miss and it cost us a win today.

Your response shows that you didn’t pay attention to who we pitched or why. It is what it is. The pitching staff is banged up, they need to find additional guys to eat innings until those injured guys get back.
We lost 18-1 to Kennesaw State two years ago. The sky isn’t falling. Stop getting hung up on the stupid SEC patch. This game does not matter to our conference standings or our NCAA Tournamwnt standing.

I listened to every inning against Arizona but we didn’t run ruled them. The game was impressive but it did not end early due to a run rule. Arizona batted in the bottom of the 9th.

Exactly what I thought after the performances we had the past two days. Instead my UGA buddies on the golf course got to make shots all day about how we are a good program until we play the SEC. Eventually you have to nut up or shut up and Clemson hasn’t showed up lately against the SEC. It pisses me off to type this but we must do better to change the narrative. Go Tigers!

The Tennessee Vols also win consistently against SEC teams. We need to perform better in these games to change the narrative. How hard is it to understand… We have had fantastic seasons the past two years just to get knocked out by Tennessee and Florida. We need to win against the SEC. Yes, it is just one game. However, we cannot continue to lose these games if we want to win at the highest level.

We didn't play the entire SEC today; we played Ole miss
It wasn't a regional, super regional, or even a regular season series; it was the third game of the season in a neutral site opening weekend showcase. Chill the phuque out dude this one game will not define our season. I'm glad the players aren't as hung up on the past two seasons as some of the fans.

You’re right… it is only the 3rd game of the season, but I have written nothing but facts about Clemson’s performance against the SEC as of late. Seems that it has struck a nerve because they have ended our seasons and prevented us from taking our team to the next level. Have to win those games. Hope the Tigers respond by sweeping the coots and finally beating UGA at DKS.

Wasn't our guys blinking and succumbing to the myth of SEC dominance. We were unfortunate and some would argue unfairly officiated. Go back and look at the ESPN gametracker in that last game against UF you'll see 9 straight strikes that were called balls in the eighth inning that ran one of our pitchers. This program is mentally strong we didn't lose those series because of the patch on their jerseys.

I am well aware of the ESPN game tracker and the 9 straight strikes that were called balls that helped Florida. I’m proud that Bakich and Leggett let em know about that! It still doesn’t change the fact that Clemson lost. If we want to change the narrative about the superiority of the SEC, we have to win the games. Go Tigers and hopefully this will be the only loss to the SEC that the Tigers have this year!

We might get knocked out by an SEC team and prevented from advancing to Omaha like last year. Amazing and impressive season last year, but we let Florida come into DKS and eliminate us. I’m sure if you asked Coach Bakich, that isn’t acceptable in his book.

Absolutely, Clemson lost to Kennesaw State 18-2 last year and it wasn’t a big deal. It is a big deal to lose games to the SEC. We need to perform better at all cost in these games. To treat this game as an opportunity to “figure things out” by throwing young arms was a coaching mistake. This was not the game to do that.
