I cant stand NBCs golf coverage

Tirico is not a golf guy and shouldn’t be the anchor. They show too many talking heads instead of golf action. Eventhough Chamblee was a golfer he is far removed and is just a diarrhea mouth. They don’t let Faxon talk enough. Maltbee is good but he tends to pump things out of proportion. They own Golf Channel but it is like “corporate” taking over. NBC was good with Johnny Miller but that was few and far between and long ago.
Much prefer CBS coverage.
What do other golfers here think?

Tirico seemed really wierd to me when he first started doing golf, but he has been doing it for what seems like close to a decade now. I am somewhat used to him now. Although, I agree he doesn't seem like a natural fit.

True enough...Tirico is awful...Shame bleeding could not play the game so he started running his mouth full time...always liked Johnny Miller, Paul Azinger and David Duval but they did not kiss Tigers a** enough...Miller was always blunt...can't stand Gary Koch!

Chamblee is to me the golf McElroy (like college football Greg not Rory of golf). Annoying and smarmy.

A nascar race where it feels WAY more exciting than it is. Lots of on course commentators describing everything. Good stuff if you’re on the road.
