why do you care if the Cluckers win the baseball championship, or even the next 5 in a row? It's a MINOR sport.
Do you get upset that UNC has won a dozen women's soccer championships? Or that UGA dominates gymnastics? Does it matter or impact you at all? Do you think the Chickens care that we won a golf championship? This is the same deal.....This is a MINOR insignificant sport.
I just watched SportCenter to see the score of the Fla-SC game last night. I STILL don't know, as there was no mention of the event. Maybe they mentioned it while I was yawning and not paying attention.
Let them enjoy their tiny little accomplishment. More people can tell you who won the 1946 Rose Bowl than who won last year's College World Series.

but make no mistake about it,College Baseball is a minor sport.That's why there's only 3-5 full scholly players on each team. A sport that can't pay for itself and relies on football and basketball money brought into the college to survive is minor.

doesn't change the fact that baseball gets the same coverage as women's softball or lacrosse.

seeking some sort of respect/affirmation, and have somehow convinced themselves that we care about their crime-infested third-tier remedial school.
When I see a stadium full of SCAR fans, I see a bunch of folks that can probably make change and read pretty well, but struggle badly at reading comprehension. THAT'S why they got rejected to all the decent schools and had to settle for SCAR.
This hammerhead fellow appears to be one of their ### laude graduates.

Let's be real. Is baseball as big as football? No, not close but it is far from a minor sport. Look how many athletes get drafted and have a chance to play professional. Look at the playoff process, the tv for regionals , supers, and cws. I know it sucks to get beat by your rival and watch their success but baseball is definitely not a minor sport.
