With all the transfers coming to play and almost making the playoff last year, how can they be this bad?

Has any team gone undefeated and followed up the next season with 1-11 or whatever their record currently is? This is truly a #### show of epic proportions.

It's embarrassing for the league!! I cannot remember a team falling from grace like this. Did they have a major coaching turnover problem or what. I don't get it at all.

Thus we see the other side of the double edge sword of a program built around transfers.
Very little continuity between teams from year to year. Locker room chemistry each year? Highly unpredictable. Coachable kids with leadership characteristics to elevate the play of the ‘follower’ players? Unpredictable … maybe a new leader or two shows up in any given new season, maybe not.
FSU is, in this still new era of the Team-by-Portal era, the poster child of the unpredictability / inconsistency risks of a program which has become dependent upon the portal.
OK, back to beeching about how Dabo has outlived his usefulness because he (erroneous assertion, but I’m going with the flow here) ‘refusal’ to try to get any impact players via the portal.

You are right. But a program can change its direction quickly with portal for better or worse rather than a multi year rebuild and develop roster. But then it’s an every year process and costly bidding for players.

I don’t think people realize how good Jordan Travis was. It was mind boggling that they went to DJU this year.

That were going to springboard to the NFL. So a lot of the key ones moved on I think. Kinda like the Florida Marlins used to do in baseball. Load up one year in elite free agents and then they all leave the following. If they reinstitute the sit out rule a lot of this gets solved
