I'd love to see us use that play more this season.

Yeah I can see Davidson and EZE being RB1 and RB2, but Randall will have specific packages designed for him as well. I'm anxious to see what Henderson can do as well when he gets here.

....but I'd like to know the answer to this question.
As the play is a pass play where Randall runs a wheel route, what will be Cade's next look in his progression when the Randall is covered?
Coaches are a lot smarter than I. But, I know enough to know that they set up combinations of routes so that, "If this guy is covered then that guy should be open."
I suspect that Randall (this guy) will get a lot of attention coming out of the backfield. So, who is "that guy" on the play? I have no idea, but I would guess it is the TE. There has to be some sort of combo routes where the safety and LB are put under stress when the RB comes out of the backfield.
I think Randall will catch a bunch of passes this Fall. But, I also think he will be so important for the D to key on him that he will get others open.

Most likely some sort of drag route 4-5 yards off the LOS shooting across where Randall goes out from, that would be my guess to get the ball out quick enough. Williams or Brown on a drag

But, I think that DC's will sort of expect that every time he is in, so we have to scheme up another use for him. Maybe send him on a wheel route and then drag a TE in behind him and use him as a lead blocker!

Is he fast enough for that?
I remember Spiller making a number of plays off that play.
One in particular is probably one of my all time favorites...when he juked the entire GaTech defense one by one down the sideline.
I also wouldn't be surprised to see Randall with an extra 10-20lbs pounding it through the middle. He very much reminds me of Wayne Gallman in that he runs high. But Gallman made it work and was an excellent RB. One of my favorites.

From what I've read, he's actually got awesome straight-line speed. Based on DHood's report a week or so ago it sounded like he has a good burst too so I'm excited to see how it works out. Can't spot the dadgum ball soon enough for this team!

Wasn’t really a wheel, but similar to the ball that Jarvis Green scored on against Texas

If he can catch the ball, not the best hands as a receiver..

He's gonna be a tough cover out of the backfield for most LBs that's for sure.
