I was glad to see that last drive result in a touch down. Go Tigers! I think we need both DJ and CK if we have plans for the ACC championship and beyond. Texas and Bama looked strong today.

Don't get me wrong, he's doing everything he needs to do. He's had no real pressure so can camp out in the pocket and wait for he significantly bigger and faster receivers get open.
This is a great confidence builder for DJU. I'm glad he's playing the way he is. But this is a "so far" type of game.

He wasn't good either. He was like #95 in passer rating against a bad GT. He was average.

Nobody owes you an apology. Uiagalelei has played exceptionally well today. I agree it's wrong to trash Uiagalelei. It's perfectly reason criticize poor play. You conflate the two.

I don't think people have trashed him. But what would those who want him benched apologize for? You expect people to forget that he's been outside the top 100 QBs in the country for the last year and a game because they're letting him air it out against Furman? Really. Furman?

Don't hold your breath. After all, this is Furman. Kinda like a scrimmage. lf he was doing poorly in a scrimmage, he should never be a starter.

And is quicker today, not just with his feet, but with his thinking. Monday night he was playing chess. But he seems to be a bit quicker today and it's making a difference. But, he will continue to need to improve as well as that offensive line. Gets a lot tougher from here.
