Too Late for Week 9 Rankings???

Ok, so it's already the Saturday of Week 10 and I'm posting Week 9 rankings. Late much? Here's the deal:
I've been crunching numbers, comparing and contrasting, and blowing up the CFP Selection Committee's rankings all week trying to determine who's who so far this year, and it took me until now to get it all straightened out. So, before Week 10 really kicks off, I'm posting my take on the FBS Top 25 here for your scrutiny.
It also must be noted that there is a TON of football left to be played this season, so while I do feel like I've done a great job with the rankings post Week 9, I also know that there will be a lot of changes that must be made, especially once the Big 12 starts to implode on itself (ehem).
So, without further ado:
FBS Top 25 (per me)
1. LSU 2. Clemson 3. Michigan State 4. Iowa 5. Florida 6. Alabama 7. Stanford 8. Notre Dame 9. Memphis 10. Utah 11. Ohio State 12. Baylor 13. Oklahoma State 14. TCU 15. Ole Miss 16. Michigan 17. Northwestern 18. Texas A&M 19. Mississippi State 20. Florida State 21. Oklahoma 22. UCLA 23. Temple 24. Houston 25. North Carolina
For the record I am a huge Clemson fan and am in no way a corndog lovin' wannabe "Tiger" from the copycat "Death Valley" in the middle of nowhere SEC hellhole that is LSU. I'm just trying to present what I believe to be an unbiased look at the rankings.
I know there will most likely be some disagreement, and that's the point. This is my take on what the FBS landscape looks like right now, but I'd love to hear yours! So dissect away! Looking forward to some interesting takes on this one!

Riddle me this, Batman.

How is it that you have the team with the most versatile offense sucking hind teat to the team with the most one dimensional offense?
...and I thought Frank Gorshin was dead.

Seriously...
Leonard Fournette goes down...so goes LSU!
Clemson lost its most dangerous (arguably) weapon day one in Mike Williams and hasn't missed a beat.
GO Tigers!!!

Hey, I don't disagree with you, and I personally think that Clemson would take LSU to town if they got a shot head to head.
That being said, I don't believe in what most pundits refer to as the "eye test". There is no such thing, because the "eye test" amounts to preference and bias. It's what's wrong with almost every poll out there, including the AP Poll, Coaches Poll, and the CFP Rankings. The "eye test" is what gave us so much controversy in the Pre-BCS era, and what ultimately led to the formation of the BCS system.
Clemson, I believe, is the better team, but LSU has a better resume at this point. LSU has two wins versus Top 25 opponents (#19 MSST and #5 FLA) whereas Clemson only has one win versus Top 25 opponents (#8 ND). Clemson does haave a better strength of schedule so far with a 4-0 record against winning teams, three of which are Power 5 conference teams. LSU does have a 3-0 record against winning teams with two of those wins coming against Power 5 conference teams.
You could move Clemson to #1, but with LSU boasting more wins against Top 25 teams and a better win, I feel they have to be ahead.
Again, trying to avoid that whole bias thing.

how everyone has Bammer ahead of ND. Bammer lost to Ole Miss, which #18 I believe and ND lost to Clemson, who is #1. So how does that put Bammer ahead of ND???????? Just my .02 worth.

For me it all boils down to strength of schedule and wins versus Top 25 teams. Notre Dame's only loss comes to #2 Clemson, but their only win against a Top 25 team is a close one against #23 Temple. Alabama, which easily has a much stronger schedule right now, lost to #15 Ole Miss, but has a win against #18 Texas A&M. The loss column goes to Notre Dame, no problem, but Alabama has the Irish beat in win quality and SOS, so the Tide roll to #6 and the Irish have to settle for #8. Just the way I see it at the moment.
