season, but, not much mention is being made of our opening, at home, game with LSU. We win and it’s great. We lose and we immediately drop in the polls and the CFP Committee will remember that we lost to a mid level SEC team at home. This is a critical game. Does anyone else agree?

The perception of the ACC and the reality of our postseason performance means that we need to win the conference title to make the playoff if we have more than two losses.

All cred for any hype before an opener was lost after the 28-7 loss to the mighty Duke Bluedevils at their high school stadium. We haven't really beaten anybody in a long time.

No more talk. Time to prove it on the field in game one.
