since 2008 but, by gosh, if they think they can sign as much as a free agent contract when three years are up, they are out of there.

You would think that someone at some point would say he was coming back to help his team win a championship, 11th game, a fourth place ring even...

Oh wait, Spurrier does all that by himself. He doesn't really need a team. I think I get it now.

I can name the Clemson players who left early in the same time span on one hand.

I can't do that for the chickens for two reasons - 1) There's too many of them 2) No one remembers their names now because so many of them aren't playing anywhere.

They just wanted out of Columbia

He had a hell of a season, coming back wasn't going to improve his draft stock any. He won't go high, but he wouldn't have gone any higher the next year if he had stayed. Smart move, especially after seeing Lattimore's situation.
