Lost to the freaking Coots who are awful and Loyola Chicago who also awful! If we don’t make the NCAA tournament then this was not a good season. You take away those two loses and we are in the tournament and it’s not even close. We finished good in a weaker the normal years ACC blah blah blah. Sorry but I see the Same mediocracy we get with basketball year in and year out. And the blame is Brad brownell!

Might have been a season but the result come selection Sunday won’t be enough to keep CBB.

With a rotational schedule final regular season standings are of minimal meaning.

Exactly. Clemson played the top 4 teams in the final regular season standings once each. Brownell got extremely lucky with the schedule and the strength of the ACC (or lack of it) and now he's John Wooden.

we live and die by the three. When we are knocking them down, we are very tough to beat because we can go up 20 in a flash and play well enough on defense to hold a lead. When they are not falling, and Loyola Chicago shoots lights out, then bad things happen. It is Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde, Albeit we saw a lot more DrJeckle this year, it is also a fair statement that half the ACC was just abysmal this year. Everyone was down except Miami State, and UVA, and even then, UVA took a while to get out of the gates. Right now they look like an elite 8 team, so do not feel so bad about last night's loss, we do not match up well against them, their guards are far too quick too for us to defend and Bennett has that team humming right now. They put on a clinic the last two nights.

Woe is me!
I really enjoyed this basketball season. A few games were not what I expected but I got a lot of personal pleasure Watching this team beat Duke and State and FSU and Penn State and a host of others who, in the past, have made life miserable for basketball fans of my Tigers . And it ain’t over yet!
Anytime I can sit in the comfort of my “man cave” with a cool soda and hot popcorn and watch the Clemson Tigers play these teams who wish they were Clemson brings me a lot of comfort. It hurts when they aren’t successful but, unlike most of you, I’ve had a few disappointments in my 80 plus years of living. I’m not changing anything about Clemson University. It’s been to great for me to let them down now.
Get those season tickets early. The new Tigers will be running down the hill very soon and, if you miss it, you’ll be sorry!
Go Tigers
Support this university AND its teams and coaches.

Hi ForestTiger Dude! My feelings exactly. Clemson has a good team and has the potential to beat anyone they play - so there was always hope this year.

By most objective measures it was a solid season, particularly compared to early season expectations and past performances.
Whether or not it was a very good season will be known on Sunday...

It was just our luck that both Loyola and Louisville played their best games of the year against us. They would have beaten a lot of teams on those particular nights. We never should have lost to SC but that was early in the season and never would have happened had we played them a little later on.
We have to take the bad with the good but on balance it was much better than our pre-season expectations.
