How much would a men’s soccer national title mean to you?

As a Clemson fan? Be honest. It’s ok to say nothing if you really don’t care.
For me it would be awesome to see and it would be very important considering how elite our program has been but we haven’t been able to add a third national title.
Also I am far too young to remember the 84 and 87 soccer titles. I have a vague memory of the 2003 golf title but it would be amazing to celebrate a non football Clemson national title

42 years ago, some guys a group up playing Little League soccer with defeated Clemson in the NCAA soccer championship. I didn’t play college ball but I did coach Little League for 15 years and love the sport. Fast forward and I have a daughter who graduated from Clemson and I would absolutely love to see Clemson win another soccer championship.

while I'm definitely big on Tiger FB & baseball, I'm an overall fan & want all the Clemson athletic teams to perform top level & be the best.
1 of my favorite memories in school was the '05 Final 4 run. Had a roommate from India that semester, I went w/ him to the home game against SC, which ended up going to 2OT before the Tigers won, & the Elite 8 win over Creighton. Crowds were electric & while I never became fan in terms of watching WC/UEFA/PL/etc level, definitely fell in love w/ Clemson soccer that year.
Hoping for a Tiger W Friday so I can make the drive from Cfield to Cary Sunday & take in the game

place in Clemson in 88'. They were guys that Ibrahim had recruited from African nations I believe, nicest and friendliest people you had ever met.
What really struck me was how grateful they were to be in Clemson and in the USA. They gushed about how great the country was and how blessed they were to be playing college soccer at Clemson. It made me slightly ashamed of my attitude at the time.
It really made me pull hard for them through those years.

Being the best is the goal. I don’t care if it is ping pong. Growing up playing soccer it is a sport I keep up with. Isaiah Reed played in the same soccer club as my son. He was great back in the day and was happy to see he made it to Clemson.

of Clemson soccer from my time there in the early 70's. I lived in Norris Hall and the players used to play 2v2 or 3v3 in the concrete area outside our dorm, trying to score between two coke cans set up about 24" apart. This started my life long appreciation for the "beautiful game". We need another natty. Go Tigers!

I'm not a soccer fan at all but I was on campus in '87 and actually went to a couple of games. I seem to recall one game at Riggs was a tournament game, too, which is probably why I made the effort to wander over there from Johnstone.

It would mean a lot to me and all true Tiger fans because lil' ole Clemson does it again. It also would mean a lot to the soccer program and the university. As some have said, the soccer team has been just on the edge and it would be great to over the hump and bring that 2021 NC trophy home to Clemson to sit beside it's two great uncles.

I'm proud of all Clemson teams and ANY National Title's is important to me. I was a photographer for the Tiger and took pictures at the 1987 Natty. It was exciting and a great honor for the school but it was played at Riggs field with only 8,000 in attendance. If you asked 100 people who won last years soccer Natty maybe 2 or 3 would know who it was if it wasn't the school they followed.

Clemson athletic success is great in any sport but soccer is in my top three of personal interest.
I grew up in the area and went to a lot of games as a small child during the Ibrahim years. In my youth I went to a good many games as well as attended coach Adair’s summer camps.
I haven’t made it to Riggs in a while but based on the videos that are posted on the board (hint hint Tnet) the atmosphere looks awesome. I see soccer becoming equally as popular as any sport not football or men’s basketball. We have a great product as well as one of the best venues in the country. Go Tigers!

I can't believe they played the natty there. All teams throughout the year are playing on natural grass (allows you to play to space more) and then they play the finals on green concrete. Completely different style of soccer.

It would be a big deal. 3 million kids in the US playing soccer. (yes, that’s the number) It’s the most popular sport in the world by a very wide margin. winning the NCAA Soccer Championship = Worldwide advertising.

Huge. I still vividly remember watching the last NC they won when I was a freshman. A player on the team lived next to me in Johnstone so I kept up more than I normally would have. Over the years I met several of the players. It was a fun season for sure. I believe it was the first year of the new stands too.
We’re a football/futbol school. Would be nice to have 3 NC’s each.

of the "Big Three" sports of football, baseball, or basketball. But, it would be continuing validation that Clemson has sustained excellence in soccer. We have been a "player" on the National soccer scene for decades, but only two Nattys to show for it. Almost like the Atlanta Braves in that regard.

It would mean a great deal to me. This is high quality soccer that is being played. I was on two State High School Championship teams at Irmo in 1978 & 1979. Played four years there, and have super great memories. Our team went to I. M. Ibrahim's soccer camps each summer at Clemson. At that time Clemson had a pipeline into the Nigerian national team for recruiting. Getting an opportunity to play and learn from those guys was fantastic. I will be watching tonight.
