A point total goal is almost a non sequitur based on the competition this week. First team should execute smoothly, score quickly, and pave the way for the twos and threes to get the valuable experience they need to cultivate depth.
I’d feel better seeing butter-smooth execution resulting in efficiency rather than a high top-end score.

I'm not as concerned about the finale score, as I am about our 1st, and 2nd team finding a rhythm (Jell) playing together regardless if it was a 1st, or 2nd teamer in the game at the same time. IMO, when the 1st, and 2nd team guys can play together without skipping a beat, we will be on track to make a serious push come championship season bc the talent is there!!!

It's not so much about points. I want:
1. No sacks
2. No Tackles for loss
3. No wrong routes
4. No dropped passes
5. No interceptions
6. No fumbles
7. Over 5 yards per carry

even for some of our really good offenses from previous years. TFL will 100% happen.
No sacks and 5+ YPC are good, realistic goals though. I'll be interested to revisit this list Saturday night and see how many of these boxes get ticked.

It's so much the numbers because Dabo will not run up the score. For me, it's execution. How do we look and preform is more important than points.

Unless they pass a new rule that allows us to apply this week’s points to last week’s game; the amount we score against SCSU will not impact how I feel about our offense.

Dabo will not allow that many points to be scored. Replacements seem to take precedent. Hurts the stats for a possible Heisman candidate. The SEC seldom substitutes their name players because stats and image is what it is all about to them. I would rather have Dabo's vision.

Bloody their nose and prove we can run at will, and then work on getting DJ back in rhythm.
My concern however is we'll get two yards on our first attempt, and the running game will be put on the back burner yet again.
